Donna M. Glapion was appointed to serve as Interim Councilmember-At-Large on January 28, 2021.  She fills the seat vacated by former Councilmember-At-Large Jason R. Williams.  Glapion serves the community on the Criminal Justice Committee, Economic Development and Special Development Committee, Public Works and Sanitation Committee,

LHF is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen Louisiana’s hospitality industry through support of hospitality and culinary education and workforce development programs, and by providing financial assistance and/or guidance to hospitality industry workers during times of crisis.

The Jae Impact works with AASA-NO as Creative Director for the associations' Fundraising events, additionally Produced and Printed the inaugural annual report.

The school is devoted to preparing young men to fulfill their potential as leaders with confidence and character.  The AASA-NO provides opportunities to stay  connected with classmates & the school while provide mentoring and scholarships for young Purple Knights.

In 2020, Martin inspired the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to donate $15 million dollars to Historically Black Colleges and Universities participating in The Just Project.
